Astrophotography - the sky is not the limit

Camera’s

Altair Astro Hypercam 26M
APS-C Mono Camera 16bit. The new standard in astro imaging, Altair Hypercam 26M uses the latest 16bit Sony IMX571 sensor with ultra low read noise and super high quantum efficiency in a large APS-C format. It also has a dew heater.

Altair Astro Hypercam 269C
The Hypercam 269C Colour camera has a Thermo-Electric Cooling System (TEC) for extremely low noise imaging. The 21mp Sony IMX269 is a 12bit colour 4/3rds sensor with 3.30 m Pixels.

ZWO ASI 174MM
This monochrome imaging camera is based on the Sony Exmor IMX174 2.35MP sensor with Pregius global shutter technology. I use this camera for guiding, but it is also very suitable for planetary, moon or sun imaging.

ZWO ASI 120MM mini
The ASI120 mini-camera offers very good performance for planetary imaging as well as for guiding. Low read noise and high dynamic range. For starting astrophotography this is a very good choice to use this camera for guiding.
